Anna Blue So Alone (So Allein) part 1

Damien Dawn- your heart (Dein Here) and Anna Blue- So Alone (So Allein). Very little is known about these two, other than a website and Facebook page under “Anna Blue” no other information can be found. So that in mind “Anna Blue” and “Damien Dawn” could the characters names, the people who are performing the songs, or they could be the directors/animators of the videos, who know.

(German version )
They is one thing clear in the two videos is they both have their own small story that plays a bigger part of a whole story (his side/ her side). Damien’s side was realest some time after Anna’s and both originally realest in German but then in English.

(English version)

Anna Blue- So Alone (So Allein) was realest 1st and its about a normal girl who is alone and sad and also feels she’s not loved or wanted, this makes her feel lonely and longs to be wanted and loved. The video itself does longer than 3 minutes, but it reuses the same clips to go with the song.

Into The Woods

Into The Woods- this stunning piece of animation is 100% 2D, even though it achieves some 3D elements. The program used to make this music video is called ToonBoom Animate Pro (2) and it uses multiple layers to achieve depth of felled effect. Into the woods was directed and animated by Adan Phillips who is a freelance animator and tutor.

The animation in the video is based around the song by Cilla Jane ‘into the woods ‘from her album “Until Moring Comes” and the song is about the tree key stages of that we all go through life and they are repented to us, as children the wise owl guiding us, as teens and the fox keeping us safe, and as adults the dear shows us the path and that we no longer think feel or act like a child.

Because the animation was based around the song, the story protrude works really well and it’s enjoyable to watch. I enjoy the characters design and their animation, mainly the when the fox appears out from the shadows and circles the girl. Keeling in mind it’s a 2D layered animation and this turn around part achieved a stunning 3D effect.

Tidy Monster

Tidy monster- was created by a student who attended the University of Hertfordshire , and its a well made piece of sinister animation, if not for the voice over the animations intentions would not be clear.

Tidy monster is about an unseen character as he descends into madness when he struggles to keep the room tidy. The room is no more than three walls a floor and a roof with nothing more than a chair and a lap filling it. Throughout the animation the room starts off normal the chair begins to float. Soon after this the room starts to twist and warp intern the character starts to lose construe until the room cracks and splits.

With the stunning dark visual and with creepy sounds, including the un see characters voice and emotions all come together to create this mans descent into madness. At times its not clear what is going on at times. Other than a floating chair, flickering lights and a warping room, but his is all that’s needed when to make an stunning animation. Very well made and very enjoyable to watch.

Conspiracy,Chose Theory

Conspiracy- Chose Theory- is a stunning piece of visual animation technology, but not a hand modelled animation, instead its a hand coded animation know as “Demoscenes” or “Demo”. The point of “demoscene” is to hand code an animation that would react to a change of mood changes or audio changes. Then have it run on a computer as a standalone program, depending on the computers CPU and graphic capability, the end result would look similar but not the same.

“demoscene” is a computer art, with a group of people large or small all working together to make a “demo”. This ‘programming’ animation has been used since 1980 and still used today.

Chose theory was mad in 64k and also remixed into 4k. The ‘Program’ will react differently to the computer type and screen resolution its used on, the changes most seen would be lights, depth of felled and smoothness. Chaos theory was brought to you by ‘Bayl”- main code programmer, ‘Gargaj’- the synthesizer coder and music, and finally ‘Zoom’- visuals coder.

The visuals are cool and the fact its part animated but fully coded just make its mind blowing- in a way, the only parts that really are hand modelled of animated are the main big objects, but the lighting camera moment and particles are calculated by the porticoes physics engine.
I love the visuals in chaos theory and the concept of a non animated animation as the possibilities are endless and the fact it’s coded, its fascinating

Chiruri 自主制作アニメ「チルリ」

Chiruri 自主制作アニメ「チルリ」- is a beautiful piece of animation “art” the basic story idea is about a boy and a girl, the boy is seeking for water where as the girl is seeking for kindness. But apart from this overuse concept the real story is unclear and very confusing. The story relies heavenly on its characters animations and the emotions the gave out, considering the only audio is a wonderful piano music performed by Kai Shione. The music adds to the emotion and tension without it the animation would be lost.

But this is what I believe “the city is on some sort of drought where the water runs black like oil and if anyone drinks this would turn into a mindless drown in this colourless city. Despite this they is one girl with a basket of apples seeking for kindness but they pass her by. In the meantime a boy arrived to the city that is losing strength from thrust. Later to the end of the animation the boy passes of from drinking this water and the girl realises they is no more kindness in this city and begins to “cry a river of sorrow” this river of sorrow reaches the boy.... in the end the boy drinks away her sorrow and she begins to “cry tiers of happiness”

So in other words I believe this animation and story revolves around them to sayings “river of sorrow” and “tires of happiness” to beautiful quotes that mean so much.
I don’t enjoy watching this animation for its story, no; I watch it for its characters design. It has a cartoon feel but NOT anime style and I really like this. The characters animations and textures are seamless without floor.
