Conspiracy- Chose Theory- is a stunning piece of visual
animation technology, but not a hand modelled animation, instead its a hand
coded animation know as “Demoscenes” or “Demo”. The point of “demoscene” is to
hand code an animation that would react to a change of mood changes or audio
changes. Then have it run on a computer as a standalone program, depending on
the computers CPU and graphic capability, the end result would look similar but
not the same.
“demoscene” is a computer art, with a group of people large
or small all working together to make a “demo”. This ‘programming’ animation
has been used since 1980 and still used today.
Chose theory was mad in 64k and also remixed into 4k. The
‘Program’ will react differently to the computer type and screen resolution its
used on, the changes most seen would be lights, depth of felled and smoothness.
Chaos theory was brought to you by ‘Bayl”- main code programmer, ‘Gargaj’- the
synthesizer coder and music, and finally ‘Zoom’- visuals coder.
The visuals are cool and the fact its part animated but
fully coded just make its mind blowing- in a way, the only parts that really
are hand modelled of animated are the main big objects, but the lighting camera
moment and particles are calculated by the porticoes physics engine.
I love the visuals in chaos theory and the concept of a non
animated animation as the possibilities are endless and the fact it’s coded,
