Oh look a 2nd or 3rd blog on Blender and Maya, yay originality
Well this will be the last Blog on Blender VS Maya, since the start of this year, I said to my self i would use Maya for my current projects, and not used Blender since i started attending this collage, and i got my grubby hands on Maya, i have slowly become more accustomed to using Maya, at 1st all i could do was find the bad things, or more like point out what Maya lacked yet Blender had. but in the end i twas a losing battle, i just cant fought it,once you get use to Mayas UI, and its layout, you begin to realize how good it is (when its not crashing from the smallest thing that is...) i have to admit, as much as i love Blender, Maya beats it heads down for it's paint tools and simulations settings...what i mean by paint tool is well the large collection of pre set items, trees, plants, grass, FIRE!! all animated and repetitively fast to render. where as over on blender you either have to do make that stuff by hand, or go in depth into its inbuilt compositor. also a thing I've come to enjoy in Maya is its toon shader and outline. all because you have full control and can see it in action, Blenders version however is a Post outline effect that can get a little strange.
but yeah, its safe to say I've moved over to Maya now (ah,,,for the time being that is)
