Even though I had a relatively planed out idea for what the
animation should look like, I was finding it had to produce a story bored,
mainly because I was finding it hard to put my thoughts and ideas onto paper. But
where I finally did make one, I found I was being a little too detailed, as in
each little movement was being drawn. in the end I made a 14 page story bored,
but 3 pages were scrapped as they would only add unwanted animating and
rendering to an already lengthy process.
We star this story with a child (Mika) happily reading a favored book,
As the camera looks over her shoulder and focuses on the books page she had turned to, we are 'Transported' into the books story...
We see in both the page and the next sce a hand holding a basket
As the Red Cloaked Figure walks along a path and towards the caamera, we get a look at this Red Cloaked Figure face... she looks alot like Mika...
As the Red Cloaked Figure continues walking, shes seen playing with a stick,,,but she looses her grip on said stick and loses it to a bush...
(Note: thsi page was removed since it only added more work then neded)
The bush in question housed a collection of butterflies witch flow off in every direction, attracting the attention of Red Cloaked Figure.
The Red Cloaked Figure leaps over the fence to follow the butterflies into the woods
(Note this page was removed as it serves no purpos in the story, and add little characterdev..)
Few moments pass and the Red Cloaked Figure finds herself windering though a dence forest. the path long since been forgotten.
She thought of goving back untill somthgin ahead of her caught her attention
(Note: this scene was changed from her followung a set of butterflies, to her looking around worried and lost
As the Red Cloaked Figure walking though the woods, not paying attecnting to whats in front of her, she bumps into a large white wolf. causing her to loose her balance and fall to her back
(Note: this scene was alterd to having the Wolf back out/jump out of the nearboy tree line, as if something was chasing him, casing the Wolf and the girl to collide)
With a daze the Red Cloaked Figure wakes up to see a large Wolf looming over her, in fear the backs away and up against a tree.
misplacing her hand on a sharp rock, he receives a rather nasty cut,,
(Note the last three shots were removed since A i don't have a rock, and B at the time i didn't know how to change/animate textures within Maya)
As she looks at her hand, we go into a 'PoV' as 'We' are in her prospective looking at 'out' hand..
She looks up to see the Wolf getting closer, with fear and blind desperation she puts her hands/arms in front of her face. closing her eyes tight.
few seconds pass and she opens her eyes with a confused look on her face
(Note: m not sure if i will keep the PoV shots)
Confused with whats going on, she realizes the Wolf is 'nuzzling' her hand/cleaning her wound,
With a quick pat of the head, her fears are layed to rest as she gets to her feat and reaches for her basket
(Note: i have decided to remove the basket of food, and replace it with a Book,,,the type of book Mika owns
As the Girl takes one last look at the Wolf she walks/skips away, aware of what just attracted the wolfs attention... something dark loomingthese woods..
[fade to black]
The two of them walk side by side, but the Girl realizes that her new 'friend' was acting a little on edge, looking around him..
The Wolf in his own right has noticed that the Girl is a little tense, scared of him still?. so he walks closer allowing her to stork his head
But alas, as a set of butterfly flows past her face she decides to follow them, with a roll of his eyes he decides to wait for her to return
*SNAP*
A sudden sound of a Trig snapping makes the Wolf turn around. with the Girls return she pats him again on the head, as a looming shadow appears on the Path, the shadow belonging to a larger black wolf.
the White Wolf turns with a sharp motion causing the Girl to stagger backwoods to the ege..
The lager black Wolf charges foreword towards the Girl. the White wolf notices this and reacts by shoulder barging the Girl down the hill she just managed not to fall down
The Girl falls down the hill and into some bushes..
(Note: this scene ad the above one will take place either in a PoV of the larger wolf, or a 3rd person/over shoulder/head prospective
(sounds of twigs snapping)
Some time passes and the Girl is flung out from the bushes,,, now a little worse for were, with a few cuts and scrapes,, and some rather dark grass stains and mud on her cloths..
Getting to her feet she realizes that her walk with the Wolf has lead her home/granny's house
(Note: i say home, as they is no indication of who lives here,,,)
with a some what pained smile on her face. (injured arm maybe?) she walks towards the cottage
As the Girl reaches the Cottages door, she notices somethings not quite right.... the doors open and its dark inside.
at the same time the White wolf emerges from the Bushes, he too looking a little beaten up
As the Girl look into the Cottage something is waiting inside for her,,, as the thing looks outwards (PoV) it looms over her and the White Wolf is seen running to her size
As the Girl takes a step backwards, a set of bright large glowing White eyes show them self, followed by a set of large flowing Teeth and clows.
as the Shadowy creature lets out a demonic roar and moves in or the kill...
BANG!! the sound of thunder wakes the little Mika form her slumber. realizes she was dreaming, she gets up and closes the window
As Mika is looking out of the window at the thunder outside, she looks to her side and closes the book... the book has a message
"There are no happy endings when you have your head in the clouds....
Don't leave path"
(Note: the last shot has the book closed, and we see the books title/animations title
