Stop Motion

STOP MOTION animation is one of the oldest and most used animating technique, stop motion is where you move a character or object, for example an arm a small degree then take an image. When played back the illusion of the character moving whereas in reality you were moving the arm..

There are a number of different slays and techniques like using pure clay with no armature to support the model, or using an armature and higher grade clap or mouldable plastic. You can even use solid objects like Lego or action figure such as “Robot chicken”.
Stop motion animation is a long tiresome process and if you slip up on some frames you could be wasting days or even weeks of animation would have done to waste. With stop motion you don’t have room for mistakes or changes  as a small change in action or movement could look messy
