03, Researching into Hybrid

After reading the book “Hybrid Animation integrating 2D and 3D Assets” by Tina O’Hailey , and as the name suggests the book focuses on hybrid animations, a mix of both worlds and goes into some great details and spastics on the amount of work and effort that goes into producing somthing Hybrid, even tho at time the cost of such effect is more costly than just simply going with 3d animation, also another subject the book tackles. The cost and production value of TV shows and films, such the Simpsons move from a traditionally drawn animation (as seen in the upmost earliest seasons) to a more Flash smoothly drawn version, then to finally what it is today, with a mixture of 3d elements, in addition the book there is a few “how two” chapters, showing you how you can re-create the 2d effect used for the Iron giant..

This book I found to be rather helpful, and the more I read into it the more I wanted to give it again, so my practical element changed and so did the essay..
