03 of 32: Research: Red Riding Hood stories

As previously stated for my Extended practice I will be making a adaptation of  the old Fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”, but rather then it being a copy or a simple re telling of the same story (weather it’s the original. The brothers grim version, or more diluted kids versions) I will use “key “elements from the story and re-create a somewhat original re working. So in order to get a better understanding I was required to look into multiple versions of the Story to see what parts overlap, how others re told the story, and what way they took it, IE all happy and friendly where everyone lives happy ever after…. Or where Sh*t gets real and things take a more realistic approach where they are no happy ending

For example, in some of the original versions of Little Red Riding hood, both Granny AND Little Red riding hood dies, in other adaptations the story takes on an odd unfortunately direction involving little red riding hood getting into bed with the Wolf….yeah….
and then we come to the diluted versions, more kid friendly and more “politically” corrected version where everyone lives (even the wolf even though its been cut open and had stones put in its stomach,,,go logic)
