07 of 32: 1st draft of the story

With an odd break down type set up do I can connect the dots between events, and builed up the story from start to finish, since this wasent the final draft, things weren’t gonna be final, or make perfect sence

Edit: when I was writing the story, I kepped getting ideas, some simple, other complicated and a few slightly confusing. So heres the draft With Alt beginning, events, and endings

Oo===============================oOo================================oO
 ((Alternative intro1))
A young girl named Mika is sat at her table drawing, until she gets to her feet and dashes over to her toy box where she pulls a few toys including a toy dog and a red sheet. She throws it around her like it’s a cloak and  goes back to her drawing, Fantasizing, Day dreaming,  As she is happy drawing we are pulled into her creation, one of her drawings…

((Alternative into2))
As night falls a young girl named Mika is sitting on her bed happily reading a book “Little Red Riding Hood” she flips the pages of the story playing out the events in her imagination,  till we land on a page with a drawing and we are pulled into it…

Only the Main Opening Matters

Little Red Riding Hood is leaves her house with a basket of muffins and a small note reading
“Little Red please takes this basket of muffins to your Granny,
be polite and don’t leave the path for any reason,”

Little Red is part way into her journey down the boring path where she picks up a twig and starts playfully swinging it till she loses her grip. The twig flies off into the nearby forest area and disturbs a small flock of butterflies.   The butterflies flutter past Little Red and into the darker side of the forest. Little Red follows the butterflies into the forest trying to catch them. As she ventures deeper into the woods she loses track of the butterflies but is instantly drawn to some pretty flowers and not paying attention she walks straight into the side of a medium sized Grey Wolf.

(Event2)As the Wolf turns towards her, Little Red is startled and takes a step back, tripping over the basket causing her to fall backwards onto the ground. She tries to balance herself by putting her hand out but end up placing her hand heavily on a sharp rock. She sits on the ground scared holding a cut hand as the Wolf makes her way towards her.

(Alt Event) Little Red takes a step back tripping over the basket and falling to the ground banging her head causing her to pass out. She later comes too with a cold sand-paper like tongue on her face. She opens her eyes to meet the gaze of the Grey Wolf.

Little Red tries to shuffle backwards, as the wolf closes in she closes her eyes and puts out her injured hand in front of her face fearing the worst, however the Wolf doesn’t attack but rather licks Little Reds injured hand. Little Red realise this Wolf means no harm and she offers the wolf a Muffin from the basket. The wolf stays by Little Reds side as she gets to her feet, picking up the flowers and the remaining muffins.

Come Forth to the Middle

The two of them walk side by side through the woods towards the path, as they walk Little Red is once again distracted by something moving in the distance and goes to investigate, the Grey Wolf notices this venturing through into the woods and runs over to her and softly head-butts her in the side to make her go back towards the path as Little Red moves from the area the Grey Wolf turns to the area of distraction and snarls...

Multiple times a sound is heard within the bushes and Little Red goes over to investigate, each time the Wolf stops her from seeking out the sound... throughout their little walk the Wolf has stopped Little Red from tripping over branches a few times.

Some time passes and Little Red finds herself getting bored and ever more easily distracted and the Grey Wolf ever more irritated by Little Reds lack of attention, as she walks by the Wolfs side she pats him gently on the head, The Grey Wolf doesn’t like this and pulls away from her lightly growling. Seemingly unbothered by this she attempts to stroke the Wolf’s face. A sound of a twig snapping alerts the Wolf causing him to raise his head and look to the location of the sound. This sudden sharp movement startles Little Red and she steps backwards towards some bushes. The Wolf notices something and starts growling towards Little Red. More scared then before Little Red takes another step backwards. The wolf bolts towards her at great speed growling.

(Enevt2) Now scared and fearing for her life Little Red makes a break for it and starts running away from the Grey Wolf. Little Red runs deeper into the woods with the Wolf close behind her, closing the gap with each step. As the Wolf closes the distance Little Red quickly sweeps up a stone and throws it towards the Wolf. As the stone hits the Wolfs face Little Red takes this chance to duck behind a tree. She waits; hand over her mouth trying to keep quiet as the Wolf gets closer to the tree before running off into the distance…

(Alt Event2)… As the Wolf closes the distance Little Red sees a fallen trunk in her path and quickly falls to the ground and slides under the gap. The Grey wolf bounds over the trunk and lands ahead of Little Red, stopping her in her tracks. Little Red stumbles to the ground as the Grey Wolf comes closer snooping. Little Red in a last effort of escape brings her foot up and kicks the Grey Wolf in the face, Little Red runs away leaving the Wolf in a daze. The Grey Wolf comes to his senses and takes a step forward to follow Little Red. However the Grey Wolf is tired of baby-sitting this child and with a final growl he runs off in a different direction..

It comes to an End

Little Red emerges from the woods with a few scrapes and scratches here and there, a few tears on her lovely Red Cloak. She finds herself back on the path a few feet away from Granny’s house. As Little Red approaches the gate, she becomes un-eased as if something is waiting for her. As she passes the broken gate and nears the door she notices it’s already open with a few large scratches along the door frame. As Little Red slowly pushes the door open and slowly makes her way into the house.

Not too far down the path our old ‘Friend’ the Grey Wolf emerges from the woods and notices Little Red by Granny’s House, Now on the path with a direct line of sight, The Grey Wolf runs down the path towards Little Red with great speed and determination.
Unaware of the danger that’s charging towards her Little Red peers inside the darkened House but she stops, Frozen in terror. As the Grey Wolf lunges towards little Red, the last thing she sees is two big eyes and Sharp teeth…

((Alternative Ending1)) Drawing…
The Girl wakes up with such a fright! And falls backwards, knocking her head on the bed-post. She stands up in a hurry knocking her table aside as she runs out of the room. As the papers settle we see some of her drawings, her dreams, her nightmares**

((Alternative Ending2)) Reading…
The Girl sits up violently in bed scared, and without a second thought she picks up the book and throws it across the room as she grabs a toy and pulls the covers over her face. As the book hits the floor it opens up to reveal a final image**

There are no happy endings when you fail to follow the path and keep your head out of the clouds… or is their?...

** the image shows Little Red kneeling on the floor with the Grey Wolf looming over her, as they are both looking into Granny’s house they are greeted with two large Orange eyes and big sharp teeth that belongs to a rather large Black Wolf!

(Note: this final image will either be depicted in a set of 3 still images or a short animation “montage” type collecting)
