Comic Style games

For out idea we are looking into Comic book styled cartoons and games, wither that’s a cartoon/sketched like textures or simply cell shading, Either way one game came to mind, and that is TellTale games, The walking Dead.

The Walking dead is a Point and Click adventure game split into 5 episodes, but I’m going to talk a little about the textures and in-game cinematic ~saying that, they aren’t really ant “cut-scenes” is this game classed as Mishinima? Hum,,

The game itself is somewhat loosely based of the Comics, same locations, same events and same Characters show up and die in their respected times ~or do they..~

The Style- -the game is based off Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series. And uses a comic book style, saying this is not a self/cell-shaded cartoon games such as FAMILY GUY, BAY MAN and CEL DAMAGE OVERIDES and BORDERLANDS..and so on

The game uses both “hand drawn” textures that feathers deep emphasized creases and stitching, as well as a deep black lines to emphasise the fact this game is straight out of a comic. In addition to the texturing all characters and surrounding scenery and or objects are textured with thick black shading sketch marks much like a graphic novel. To etherize creases, wrinkles, and deep shadows for a truly appealing visual effect

The game also Utilises a fully in game Cinematic,, meaning all cinematic are done in game using the in game models.
